Welcome to Occupational and environmental medicine

Occupational and Environmental Medicine is the discipline that studies how different factors and exposures, in the workplace and in the environment affect humans. We study the effects of exposure to chemical substances, sound, noise, vibration, physical strain and stress.

Occupational and Environmental Medicine is an integral department with personnel from the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and University of Gothenburg.

VMC är ett miljömedicinskt kompetenscentrum. Vi arbetar med att kartlägga miljörelaterade hälsorisker inom Västra Götalandsregionen och norra Halland.
